Description

  • Suitable for ages 18 months to 3 years.
  • Session Length: 90min (60 min class + 30 min free play)
  • One adult accompanies for free (mandatory for under 4yrs).
  • Socks mandatory (grip socks recommended).
  • Up to one more additional adult at $5 payable at the counter.

In this parent-accompanied creative play session, your kids will be free to play, explore, and grow at their own pace as we dive into the world of a storybook. Our performer-teachers invite you and your little one for an imaginative hour of story, movement, and music that intends to develop their language, sensory, and fine and gross motor skills.

With the stories at the heart of each session, every creative play session is themed based on the storybook of the day making each session unique. You might find your kid stomping like an elephant or shaking a maraca along to a song about the weather!

You can expect:

  • Sensory Development
    • Through activities that stimulate their senses (sight, sound, touch, and movement)
    • Explore different textures, instruments, and materials through hands-on experiences.
  • Language Development
    • Engage children in songs, rhymes, and storytelling sessions that expose them to diverse words and phrases, expanding their vocabulary in a fun and interactive way.
    • Encourage babbling, vocalization, and imitation of sounds and words.
    • Promote early communication skills through turn-taking and listening.
  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills:
    • Develop coordination and balance through movement activities such as dancing, marching, and playing instruments.
    • Improve hand-eye coordination and dexterity by manipulating small musical instruments and props.
    • Encourage body awareness and spatial skills through creative movement and dance routines.
  • Social-Emotional Development:
    • Foster empathy and understanding by exploring emotions through music and storytelling.
    • Promote cooperation and turn-taking during group activities and musical games
